Bristlecone Sunset by collectiveone Bristlecone Sunset by collectiveone
Out shooting the Bristlecone Pines with Nolan :iconnarmansk8:
It was great to finally get to see the forest for myself. The Bristlecone Pine trees are considered to be one of the oldest living organisms on the planet, some of which are well over 4000 years old. The skeletal remains of the dead trees make for some interesting shooting subjects.

The hills in the background are just so amazing, beautiful! Wish I could go there.

I love the way the orange light is interacting with the knots and texture of the dead tree. Great shot.
