Did you go swimming? I did once, it was hysterical, you can't walk in the water past a certain point because you're so buoyant. I got out of the water and looked like a ghost with great big flakes of salt falling off.

Yes Sir it is! A pretty chemically fascinating place. Nearly 80 grams of salt per liter of water, and a ph of 10! It is interesting how the tufa formed from the under water springs. But now we get to enjoy them since Los Angeles diverted all its tributaries lowering the water level exposing them. A win lose situation I suppose. :laughing:
