It poured rain the night before. Cleared the air, saturated the sandstone colors and as you said filled up the potholes for some interesting shots! :)

Really nice capture. I love the contrasts and the colors. Something looks a little odd about the righthand side of the rock outcropping, though.

No, I do realize that there is a cloud behind the rock outcropping, but the perspective just looks a little strange to me. But the colors are gorgeous!

Ahh yes. I see what you mean. Personally I think a wider lens to get a bit more on the right of the butte.
